Cetirizine 10mg tables are used for the relief of symptoms associated with allergies (such as hay fever), including swelling, redness and itchiness of the skin in adults and children aged 6 years and older.
Always take Cetirizine 10mg tablets exactly as your doctor has told you. Check with your doctor if you are not sure. Tablets need to be swallowed with a glass of water or another cool drink.
Children aged 6 to 12 years: the recommended dose is 5mg twice daily as half a tablet, twice a day.
Adults and children aged 12 years and over: the recommended dose is 10mg once daily as one tablet.
Patients with moderate to severe renal impairment: The recommended dose is 5mg once a day as half a tablet.
This medicine may make you sleepy. If this happens, do not drive or use tools or machines.
