Colofac IBS is used for the relief of symptoms associated with irritable bowel syndrome in adults and children aged 18 years and older.
For adults and children aged 18 years and older, take one tablet three times daily. Swallow whole, preferably 20 minutes before a meal with a full glass of water. Do not take more than 3 tablets in any 24 hour period.
Tips & Advice
•How you restrict your diet depends on the way IBS affects you. If you find that certain things bring on the symptoms, then it makes sense not to eat them. A high fibre diet may help, but ask your pharmacist for more information.
•Some people find that learning to relax can help to lessen their symptoms of IBS. You may find it helpful to set aside a few moments each day to relax and gently unwind.
Active ingredients: mebeverine hydrochloride 135mg. Other ingredients: lactose, starch, povidone, talc, magnesium stearate, sucrose, gelatine, acacia and carnabua wax. If you take this for more then three days it could make your head ache worse.
Do not use if:
•You are under the age of 18 years.
•This medicine contains lactose and sucrose. If you have been previously told by your doctor that you are intolerant to some sugars, seek medical advice prior to taking this medicine.

•Please consult your pharmacist or doctor if you are currently taking any other medicines as this may cause an interaction.
