This medicine is a form of treatment that works to provide relief for a mucus cough. It does so thanks to the two active ingredients contained in the medicine, which are:
- Guaifenesin
- Pseudoephedrine
Guaifenesin is an expectorant that loosens the mucus that is trapped in the chest, throat, and nose. Pseudoephedrine is an antihistamine that reduces the symptoms associated with a cold, the flu, as well as allergies such as hay fever.
Dosage.
Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years:
One 10 ml measure up to four times daily.
Children under 12 years:
Do not use.
PSEUDOEPHEDRINE : 30mg
GUAIFENESIN : 100mg
Do not take if suffering from any blood pressure problems
